Challenge
With limited time and budget, M2O needed to create a series of video instruction manuals for a software that encrypts email on Blackberry devices. These videos had to clearly demystify the the software, and clearly illustrate to users how to install and use it.
Creative and Execution
Faced with the limitations of filming software on a Blackberry device, M2O elected to created the video utilizing “screen grab” stills of the software from the device. Meticulously taking stills of each menu on the device, M2O were able to create a video that exactly replicated the users experience, and elegantly provide the essential information to the user.
Results
The video instruction manuals successfully educated the audience and removed a barrier to entry. eCrypt saw a massive 300% spike in sales, and a 50% drop in customer service calls.
